Little Miss Muffet

I am always looking for ways to sneak in a little extra protein in my diet.

This weekend I was playing around in my test kitchen and came up with this instant protein pudding recipe using curds and whey. Ladies and gentleman, give it up for….

Instructions: Get off your tuffet. Blend all ingredients in your Magic Bullet blender until smooth and creamy. Eat. Watch out for spiders.

*I used Iron-Tek Essential Naturals protein powder in vanilla cake flavor. Just a reminder: Best Price Nutrition offers Fitness & Spice readers 5% off all orders over $50 when you enter “SPICE” in the coupon code at checkout.

While I haven’t tried it yet…I bet this recipe would be good with some peanut butter, cinnamon, or berries blended in, too.

I bet this is really good. I have to say I’ve never tried protein powder, but it’s on my list of things to do!

Stevia is awesome! I”m going to start using it more. And please, stop all that ghoulish Spider talk.

I do not eat meat–just fish, so I’m always supplementing my diet with protein powder. There are so many options out there….whey, soy, pea, hemp, goat! I am learning to rotate my protein sources a bit. It’s fun to experiment.

BTW, Josie…It isn’t even October yet! The ghoulish behavior is just beginning!

Ooh, the spider talk continues to remind me of Halloween!

Wow, this sounds so easy to put together! I just have to get some cottage cheese and I’m all set!

[...] While I admit, I do have the cutest little BabyCakes, the vegan lifestyle isn’t exactly for me, I don’t think Little Miss Muffet would want me to live without my Curds and Whey. [...]
