December 9th 2009Mmmm, that sounds fantastic!! I love peppermint. You have really jumped on the Starbucks instant coffee bandwagon, I have noticed. I should start buying that, and some whey protein powder. Now that I am doing exercise/nutrition talks at D1 I’m really into whey protein! You should drink it after your workouts, that’s when it’s most effective!

December 9th 2009Oooo, this sounds delicious. I love all those flavors… Do you think if you substituted the peppermint extract for peppermint schnapps it would make a good post-skiing cocktail?? Think of it recovering by the fireplace with something that is warm and yummy with a shot of protein and a shot of booze!
Yum Yucky says:

I’m still dying to make your coffee almonds! I think of them all the time. It’s an obsession… :)
Joanna Sutter says:
December 9th 2009Lindsay, Thanks for the kind words! I look forward to getting to know you better.
I do a lot of baking with protein powders. Some bake up better than others (as you may have experienced!)…Protein Freeze is one of my faves as it bakes well, makes great shakes, coffee drinks, and ice cream. It’s hard to find a protein powder that does it all and tastes great, too. In fact, I was just telling some friends of mine that I can eat Protein Freeze right out of the container with a spoon! ;-)
Cara (Cara Craves...) says:
