fitbook junior is honored to be a part of your Random Acts of Fitness and is excited to hear all the stories of how your blog followers are going to get the kiddos moving! it's so important that we educate the young ones on making good food choices (most of the time), to be active and play a lot, and to set goals, no matter how big or small. what i've found when i talk to parents that use fitbook junior with their kids: the children are usually the ones that start holding the parents accountable! who needs a personal trainer when you've got your child watching your every move? they're honest little creatures! lastly - any feedback on fitbook junior is always welcomed over here at fitlosophy. thanks for including us in such a positive movement!

we like to do mini "circuits" over here. high knees, jog in place, jumping jacks, arm circles, knee bends,, bicep curls, punches, shoulder presses, butt kicks ( gets a laugh every time) and we go through a series several times doing about 20-30 secs of each usually collapsing in giggles on the floor. then we do it all over again. :) esp good when we have cabin fever!!

I'm going to encourage my 7 kids (well at least the oldest 6) to get out of the lego room and into the great outdoors! It's challenging this time of year to keep them active with the cold weather, but I'm going to do it!

IS this different from your other giveaway?? I like this Random Acts of Fitness, when it has to do with getting children active. I'll tell you what, my brother is 13 years old and I motivate him to be active everyday. While he plays ice hockey and soccer, and it a very active and healthy boy, he also spends a LOT of time in front of the television. Whenever I go over there I tell him to turn it off and either go outside and throw the ball with me (lacross, my favorite!) or just come upstairs and talk to me (what a concept!). Children inspire me, so I try to inspire them as much as possible, too.

Love this giveaway, and the idea behind it.
