Words to sweat by; “SWEAT FUELS SUCCESS”

Miz says:

SWEAT IS FEAR LEAVING THE BODY.
(seriously Miz?? no not seriously :))

when Im sweating doing the cardio it is merely a chant of I CAN DO THIS I CAN DO THIS. (but the initial quote seemed far more…quotey :))

Yum Yucky says:

What about “chew and gnaw faster and the cupcake is history in less time”?

((sorry)) I’m a troublemaker :P

Jessica@HowSweet says:

I’ve never seen these!! Mine are: When you want something you’ve never had, you must do something you’ve never done.

Marisa (Loser For Life) says:

I love those! I totally stole your saying “Go Big or Go Home”! I say it to myself at the gym all the time now!

I would share a towel with my pal, Coleen. Chatting with her while we’re on The Arc Trainer makes the torture go by fast ;)

Lily @ Lily's Health Pad says:

Mine would be “I’m hardcore.” I try to tell myself this when I want to quit. Quitting is not for people of my elite calibur. (Yeah right.).

I would give the other towel to my mom!

Total Fit Girl says:

These are too cute! My quote is “Push yourself harder.” Even when I feel ready to step off the treadmill, put down my weights, or lower my intensity, I remember that I’m at the gym for a reason – to get stronger and stay healthy – so I tell myself to push myself harder and it helps give me the motivation to up my intensity and keep going!

Pat Steer (Gaelen) says:

Those towels are great – but I’m afraid my words-to-sweat-by are a little lower key – along the lines of nonviolent resistance. ;) The best for me, from Gandhi – ‘be the change!’, an abbreviation of his great ‘be the change you wish to see in the world.’
I’d give a towel to my friend Az, who inspired me to get more structured yoga into my life, and who always appreciates a snappy slogan!

Sweating means you can have a cookie!

Geri Calderone says:

January 14th 2010

My words to sweat by are: “I can do all things through Christ which strenghtens me” and “Hit Hard – No More Excuses!!!!.”

I would share with my friend Robin who is always reminding me to “Hit Hard” when I’m punching the heavy bag – she is a great motivation for all my workouts.

Heather (Wheres the Beach) says:

January 14th 2010

“I’m strong, I’m tough” Nothing earth shattering of course. Working out (especially weights or super hard run) makes me feel empowered.

Diane Fit to the Finish says:

January 14th 2010

My words to sweat by are: Never Go Back and I’d give one to my good friend Kristi – who is working hard on her own journey. Step by Step Kristi!

The Candid RD says:

Hmmm, not to sound like a meanie but I’m not really a fan of that second towel’s phrase. It turns out many Americans DO eat cupcakes and ice cream after a workout, because they think they burned enough calories to make up for it, and then some. That is what initiated the need for an entire TIME magazine article about how working out doesn’t cause weight loss.

Ok, I’m being overly critical. They are very cute, and clever :) I use small towels at the gym, that are actually old wash cloths that I never use anymore! Cheap, yet durable.

Love these! Since I love the weights, this cracked me up: “Carpe Dumbbells” and since I love cookies, so did this one: “”C”" is for crunches, not cookies.

I won a towel contest saying over at GGS with this saying: To lift is to be. To be is to lift.

I love them weights! I would give my other towel to my hubby!

Anna @ Newlywed, Newly Veg says:

January 14th 2010

So cute! My words to sweat by:

“Pain is temporary; quitting lasts forever” — Lance Armstrong. I’d give one to my sister!

Shannon says:

January 14th 2010

The difference between try and triumph is a little umph…

I would give my extra towel to the guy at the gym (don’t know his name) who has asked to use my towel more than once. YUCK! Who does that?

Jodie says:

January 14th 2010

Mine is: Just do it. I would give my husband.

Tracey @ I'm Not Superhuman says:

January 14th 2010

Those are too funny. My words to sweat by: Just do it already. And I’d give mine to my husband, who sweats much, much more than me.

FatFighterTV says:

January 14th 2010

Mine would be PUSH HARDER. And I would share with my darling husband, of course.

Andrea says:

January 14th 2010

ONE MORE LAP AND I CAN HAZ CHEESEBURGER

My boyfriend and I are trying our hardest to get back to the gym with a lot more frequency, so I would share my spoils with him ;)

Evan Thomas says:

January 14th 2010

My words would be “Feed And Fuel” and I’d give one to my dad since he hits the gym at least 3 times a week

Lisa says:

January 14th 2010

Love these towels! I’ve been doing more strength training since New Year’s. These look fun.

Naomi(onefitfoodie) says:

January 14th 2010

ohh such fun towels!! I would give the other towel to my mom who works SO hard in the gym. My two words would be

1. TRAIN OFTEN. SWEAT HARD. EAT RIGHT. BE HAPPY

I love the ring of this and it is so true!!!

Rachel says:

January 14th 2010

If I got these I would want them to say, “Just one more!” I tell myself that during my ENTIRE work out, because it gets me to the next one without giving up.

Dr. J says:

January 14th 2010

Attitude and fortitude :-)

Claice says:

January 14th 2010

“Push it, Push It Real Good”

These towels are awesome.

Lindsay Cotter says:

January 14th 2010

My husband always says and I quote “Pain equals performance.” Word spoken by a true athlete! Did I win? hehe!

Tee says:

January 14th 2010

Mine would say “Push to gain, not maintain” because I am sooo guilty of just doing what I can and wonder why nothing is changing! However, I have adopted your mantra of go big or go home, and it helps!! It really has changed my outlook. Now I say my chant to myself as I’m about to leave a machine without trying the next weight. I would give a towel to the 92 year old member at the gym I work at. She comes everyday and does the elliptical and weights. If she can do it, we all can!

Janet says:

January 14th 2010

I have Kanye’s “Stronger” song in my head when I work out….
“N-n-now that that don’t kill me
Can only make me stronger”

I would give the second towel to my workout buddy, D.

angela says:

January 15th 2010

love love love these towels!  my words to sweat by: LIVE LIFE FIT of course! and who would i give one too??  you miss joanna, so i’m thinking that takes me out of the running for winning the drawing but i just had to post my comments! :-)

Rachel says:

January 15th 2010

“Work your ass so you can get ass.” Obviously.

Rachel says:

January 15th 2010

Oh and I’d give the towel to my aunt who came to a 9 am spin class this morning after staying out till 3 last night!!

Janis Brendeland says:

January 16th 2010

I’ll like myself more coming home than staying home! (That’s what gets me to go exercise)

erin brooks says:

January 16th 2010

I know I can I know I can…

I’d give the other towel to my hubby! :D
