Yesterday was a balmy 35 degrees.
The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and I actually left my car window down after I ran through the Starbucks drive-thru while visions of swim suit season (GASP!) and really cute sandals danced in my head. I could almost taste Spring yesterday…in fact, I did! I made…
Protein Freeze Fudgsicles
1/3 cup Protein Freeze 1/3 – 1/2 cup Water
Blend. Pour into really cute popsicle molds (I found mine at Sur La Table). Freeze.
This tasty, guilt-free treat satisfied my sweet tooth, the kid in me, and gave me a healthy dose of protein.
Now I really must go alert the media, I found the cure for Spring Fever!

March 2nd 2010You’re so funny. I too have spring fever but instead of making delicious-looking ice pops I hole myself up in my house until signs of snow stop. That, or I go outside but complain the whole time.
Kris says:
March 2nd 2010Add a little Natural Peanut Butter in there with it and it makes it that much better. MmmmmmÂ
Jamie says:
March 2nd 2010Those yummy fat free fudgesicles have saved me from peril on any occasions! I am an emotional eater and this is one comfort food that makes me feel doubly good, it tastes so rich and chocolaty, and there is no guilt because it is low in calories, fat and sugars! but it tastes like I should feel guilty! (does that even make any sense?)

March 2nd 2010Kris, You are so right these suckers are great w/ natural peanut butter! That’s what heaven must taste like!
Jamie, You and I are cut from the same mold! I am an emotional eater or not-eater, too. These popsicles keep me on track and I never feel guilty for eating a little extra (delicious!) protein!
