You know how they say bad things happen in three’s? Well, they are right.
Here’s a quick recap of my killer weekend.
1. For starters: Meet Killer.
For May Day my dog delivered 3 dead bunnies to my doorstep. THREE! FREAKED. ME. OUT. Dear Bella, Next time bring me flowers. You know I don’t eat meat. Love, Mom.
2. Next, I ended up with some killer bruises after falling off my bike. Twice!
Do not panic, I am fine and so is the bike. No broken bones just a fugly bruise on my thigh, my arse, my ankle, and my ego. And then…
3. To top off the weekend, I broke my killer new Vita-Mix blender.
I’m pretty sure you can’t really kill a Vita-Mix, all I know is that the sucker will not power on. GASP! Surely, one call to customer service today will have it back on the blend in no time flat.
I hope your weekend wasn’t nearly as hare raising.
Now I really must go call Vita-Mix, hop on my bike, and get in a killer workout.

May 3rd 2010Oh goodness, three dead bunnies? That’s pretty gross. Glad you’re not hurt from your biking accident. And I hear the Vitamix is pretty much amazing, so I’m guessing that’s what you’re most upset about! (Though I’d still be upset about the bunnies. Ick.)

(b) I saw some parents riding bikes with their kids in the park this weekend and the kids were wearing helmets and the parents weren’t and I thought “geez I’ve had more bike crashes as an adult than as a kid.”
