THE Biggest Loser Lessons

I love watching the Biggest Loser. It’s full of ups and downs, sweat and tears, drama and triumphs, commercials and more commercials. That being said (and all in good fun)…

IMG_7965Here are a few things I’ve learned from watching the Biggest Loser:

  • Bob can solve any problem with a Ziploc bag and a stick of Extra Sugar Free Gum
  • The only reason why Jillian never loses her voice is because she drinks a lot of Brita filtered water
  • The more the contestants cry the more water weight they lose before stepping on the scale. But then again…
  • Johnson & Johnson should be a sponsor next season so there will be NO MORE TEARS!
  • If this personal training gig doesn’t work out, Jillian has a great career ahead of her as a Biggest Loser psychologist
  • Getting a bodybugg at 24 Hour Fitness does not require a prescription
  • If you’re going to get kicked off the ranch get kicked off before they make you run the marathon
  • It takes exactly 1 hour and 55 commercials to weigh 2 contestants

What have you learned from watching this commercial, I mean, reality TV show?

Now I really must go hop on my StreetStrider and go meet Shay at Subway!

all last night I was singing SUBWAAAY EAT FRESH! what did I learn? that even if this woman thinks they work out waaay too much while on the ranch that overall the show is amazing, inspiring, motivating MILLIONS, and bringing lots of us together.

LOL! You are so witty! Yes, the product placement ads do get on my nerves with that show.

I love how people transform not only their bodies, but their mindset, too!

Believe it or not… this is the first year and I didn’t watch Biggest Loser. I normally watch every season too!

I’m thinking I won’t bother writing my regular Lessons from Biggest Loser article today, especially since I had to miss the finale due to my son’s ball game.

Sorry, I was just finishing my Subway egg sandwich. I get egg, green peppers, and banana peppers all on an english muffin. And all for 110 calories! It’s my favorite way to eat fresh in the morning.

I like seeing people before and after, but those commercials are painful. Did that really need to take two hours?

And after my great Subway meal, I follow it up with a piece of Extra sugar-free gum. It’s the only reason I don’t weigh 200 pounds!!!!

:)

I laughed pretty hard at this one! I almost did not read since I have not seen the finale yet… BUT yes, way too many product placements & commercials!

I am very thankful I PVR everything so I don’t need to watch so many darn commercials! What did I learn? some good new moves at the gym…but that is about it!

Haha – how painful are the product placements in the show!? Most of the time I’m just laughing because you can tell the contestants are trying so hard to act like the whole scene wasn’t set up. I really watch tthe show for it’s “feel good” nature, though, and not so much for the nutrional or fitness knowledge it may or may not :/ contain!

I am getting ready to watch it now….. but I did see that our girl from Knoxville came in second!.
