You know how milk has that clever “Got Milk?” slogan?
Well, I think a cereal company should follow their lead with a “Wanna Spoon?” campaign.
Speaking of spooning, as one of their favorite brand ambassadors, I’ve been doing a lot of that with all-natural cereals by Attune Foods lately.
I don’t eat a lot of white flour or rice so I’m a huge fan of their Erewhon Brown Rice Cereal that tastes a lot like rice crispy cereal and I can’t wait to get my hands on a box of their new gluten free Cocoa Crispy Brown Rice cereal.
I also spoon enjoy Attune’s Uncle Sam’s line which is a wholesome blend of toasted whole grain wheat flakes and flaxseed. And get this, Uncle Sam’s is made in Lincoln, Nebraska which is just a stones throw from the Fitness & Spice headquarters.
Now I will come clean, I don’t “Got milk” because I don’t like milk. So, if I’m not eating the cereal right out of the box, sprinkling it on top of Greek yogurt, or whipping up a batch of crispy treats, I eat it with almond milk or home made protein milk.
What’s that? You want to know how I make protein milk? It’s not hard. Just stir a little vanilla or chocolate protein powder together with a little water and stir.
Wanna spoon with Attune? Here’s you chance! 5 readers are going to win 10 coupons for FREE Attune products of your choice. In the comments below just tell us 10 things you love about Fitness & Spice! Just kidding. Tell us what Attune Foods you want to spoon. I’ll announce the winners on Monday, February 28th.
Now I really must go put a fork in this post because my friends it is done!

February 25th 2011Well, there are a lot of products I would love to try. I have had their graham crackers – love them! I have not had the opportunity to try the bars so that would be a choice & would be interested in the cereals to eat as a mini snack or on top of Greek yogurt. Lots of choices there! :-)

February 26th 2011I add Uncle Sam’s Original to my bowl of oatmeal or on top of my yogurt whenever I need a little added crunch (which is every morning.) Erewhorn Crispy Brown Rice cereal makes ridiculously good, grown-up, healthy rice crispy treats (recipe from Oh She Glows). Protein milk, hmmm — must try that!
Elaine says:
February 26th 2011Well, I learned two things today (so far): Uncle Sam’s cereal is made in Lincoln, Nebraska!! Where I live!! And, Fitness and Spice HQ “a stone’s throw away” !! Who knew? So, with that in mind, I’d be willing to try any of the Uncle Sam products. GO BIG RED.
