I am one of those people that watch the Super Bowl for the commercials.
That and the half time show.
What?
I’m a marketer by day and a blogger by night so I feel it’s my responsibility to pay attention to the ads. If nothing else, it makes good shop talk and blog content.
Which brings me to one of my favorite Super Bowl commercials of all time…When I Grow Up (monster.com)
This commercial always makes me laugh. And, while I am not a pharmacist, which as a kid is what I always said I wanted to be, right now I am doing work that I love, marketing and public relations for some of my favorite healthy-living brands. How lucky am I?
Are you doing a job that you love? If not, what steps are you doing to change that? After all, life is short so make time to play and work hard…in a job you love.
Now I really must go finish some work so I can get ready for some football…commercials!

February 4th 2011Honest: I became a dentist and it was not my passion although I loved the patient interaction. After taking time off to help sick parents, it’s been a crazy year of traveling & work at home, so I haven’t gone back to work yet. I have however been volunteering and it has felt way better than all those years of working in the dental field combined.

February 6th 2011Great commercial. I need to show this to Nick to get him inspired, I don’t think he likes his job. I’m one of the lucky ones who actually looks forward to going to work everyday. Seriously, I love it. I think everyone should love what they do!!
I may watch the commercials today, we’ll see. I’m sick, so what else do I have to do?!
