Just yesterday I wrote a riveting story about what to give up for Lent…Fitness & Spice-style.
So today I thought I’d turn the tables and discuss a few things to do more of during the Lenten season. Some people on a spiritual path might use this time to do good things like more volunteer work or spend more quality time with their families. But just for fun, I thought I’d throw out….
10 Things To Do More of During Lent (Fitness & Spice-style, of course)
1. Go greener. Eat those green veggies and recycle…starting with those empty beer bottles leftover from Fat Tuesday.
3. Drink more water than that.
4. Donate your fat clothes to the poor.
5. Unplug from technology and reboot…or better yet go do a boot camp.
6. Read. Novel idea, eh?
7. Read a book to a child.
8. If you’re reading this thank a blogger, I mean, a teacher.
9. Forgive yourself for what went down on Fat Tuesday and/or Monday.
10. Floss. No really…you have spinach in your teeth.
Now I really must go to the gym because I’ve volunteered to workout with one tall drink of water.

March 9th 2011The other night I went out with some friends and everyone was on their cell phones texting or on Facebook at some point. So weird how much we’re glued to technology these days! Now I really must go unplug from technology like you recommend…
